ICAR Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Idukki telecasted PM Kisan Samman Sammelan and Agri startup Conclave on 17th October, 2022 at Seminar Hall. The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare organized a Agri – Startup Conclave and Kisan Sammelan on 17th October, 2022 at Mela Ground of ICAR- IARI, New Delhi. In About 15000 farmers and other stakeholders are participating in the Mega event. In view of the National Significance of this event, KVK Idukki telecasted this mega event online. Dr. S Jayababu, Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science), KVK Idukki delivered welcome address. Smt. Ushakumari, (Vice President, Zilla Panchayat) inaugurated the programme. She appreciated Hon’ble PM for creating such an innovative vision of Doubling farmer’s income in this Agri-conclave and distribution of PM Samman Nidhi for farmers. During the programme, a DFI farmer, Manoj Kumar. S, of Idukki district whose success story has been submitted is attending the live programme at New Delhi. The farmers viewed the live telecast of Hon’ble PM releasing PM Samman Nidhi nationwide and Agri-conclave start up. A wide coverage of the programme was done by inviting press and media across the district. Farmers were happy seeing the initiatives of our Hon’ble PM for benefitting the farming community across the nation. A total of 103 farmers and 2 dignitaries from Idukki district viewed the live mega event on 17th October, 2022 at 11:30 am.
